Cloropleth

Às vezes, precisamos de um gráfico comparativo regional, mas não sabemos como colocar de um jeito fácil. Uma opção razoavelmente simples é fazer um cloropleth. Tem um nome estranho, mas é basicamente um mapa de cores diferentes que se relacionam com a intensidade das coisas.




Fica mais ou menos assim:

Se vocês estiverem com bastante tempo, e não se incomodarem em passar algumas noites em claro, cliquem aqui. Eu sei que é um descerviço às suas vidas sociais, mas é mais forte do que eu.

O Stephen perguntou ao Will Masters, economista e co-editor do jornal Agricultural Economics, como é que o preço de um kiwi nos EUA é menor do que um selo, sendo que os kiwis vem da Nova Zelândia.

A pergunta é interessante, mas o legal mesmo é a resposta, que mostra que Economia não é Exatas mesmo.

A Google lançou oficialmente o Google Squared. Gamei. Vale a pena tentar. É basicamente como um Excel: Você preenche os nomes das colunas, e o Google automagicamente preenche o resto. Dá de 10 no bing e no wolphram juntos.

É ótimo quando você quer comparar alguma coisa, ou precisa de muitos exemplos de alguma coisa.
